I use Design as a tool to communicate a product's value proposition to its consumer. From a humble start as a Graphic Designer with Hughes Software System, back in 2001, I have been in the design industry for nearly 20 years. Where, I have had the opportunity to work in and lead different design verticals from Visual Design, HTML & CSS Development, User Research, UX Design to Design Management. These opportunities have given me an all-round experience in building Products and Multi-disciplinary Design teams alike.
Currently, I am leading a team of senior designers, designing products and services for Amazon Devices.

Experiences gathered along the way
Opportunity at Amazon devices / Appstore, offered me space to flex my Design Leadership skill. Leading the Design Studio, I drew the Design Vision for the team and a multi-year roadmap to support it. Institutionalized design thinking in the org, humanizing the product. Influenced product priorities with constant stream of customer bytes. Built a multi-disciplinary design team to support the charter.
Most recently, I have been tasked with establishing a 'Developer Experience' practice within Devices Design Group, that will help improve content development experience across the board for Amazon Devices.
Prior to Amazon, I have built and led Design practice in companies like Clarice (now Globant), Sapient, Qyuki and Geodesic.

On a lighter note
I spend a lot of time with my power tools in Garage. I love taking on home improvements and DIY projects, challenges that my wife throws at me ;). My latest creation, a Wooden floor lamp with a paper-mache lamp shade.
